  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • butter - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • cream of tartar - 1 tsp

How to make sugar cookies:

Cream oil, sugar, butter and powdered sugar. Add vanilla and eggs. Sift the dry ingredients in and blend well. Chill the dough before shaping. Roll 2 teaspoons of dough for each ball. Roll the balls in granulated sugar. Put balls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.
