  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • cooking oil - 2/3 c
  • grated lemon rind - 1 tsp

How to make sugar cookies:

Beat egg with fork until well blended. Stir in cooking oil, lemon, rind and vanilla. Blend until mixture thickens; add sugar. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Drop by teaspoons about 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet immediately. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
