vanilla - 1 tsp
milk - 1 item
butter - 1/4 c
egg - 1 item
shortening - 1 c
powdered sugar - 1 c
flour self-rising
to 2 drops food coloring any color - 1 item

How to make sugar cookies:

Mix first 5 ingredients. Drop by tablespoon. Bake until done. Then cool.

Frosting: Add 1 teaspoon of milk at a time to powdered sugar, food coloring and vanilla. Mix until stiff enough to make frosting.
