Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- Crisco - 2 c
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
How to make sugar cookies:
Cream together sugar and Crisco; add eggs and mix well. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Roll into balls about the size of a walnut; flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar.
