Succotash
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- salt or to taste - 3/4 tsp
- chopped pimiento - 2 Tbsp
- 2 can cream-style corn
- 2 can cut green beans
How to make succotash:
Simmer celery and chopped onion until tender in the liquid drained from beans. The liquid, by this time, should be almost evaporated. Add corn, drained beans, pimiento, milk and butter. Simmer until thoroughly heated. Salt to suit taste and serve at once. Makes 5 servings.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Beans, For 1 or 2.
