Cheesy chicken chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- water - 4 c
- chopped onion - 2 c
- can cream of chicken soup
- diced celery - 2 c
- diced carrots - 2 c
- dried parsley - 1 Tbsp
- diced potatoes - 2 c
- boneless, skinless chicken breasts - 4 item
- salt and pepper, to taste - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese mild or sharp - 2 c
How to make cheesy chicken chowder:
Cook chicken in salt and water until tender. Dice chicken and set aside. Strain broth, and add vegetables; cook until tender. Add cream of chicken soup, milk, salt, pepper, parsley, and butter to vegetables. Mix well then add cheese. Reduce to low heat, and cook until creamy.
