Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • Ricotta cheese - 1 lb
  • spaghetti sauce - 1 qt
  • Mozzarella cheese, grated - 1 lb
  • large shells - 1 pkg

How to make italian stuffed shells:

Cook shells according to package directions. In a large bowl, combine the Ricotta, Mozzarella, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper. Set aside. In a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, pour in half of spaghetti sauce. Spoon the cheese mixture into the cooked shells and place into dish, open side up. Cover with remaining sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

Note: Browned and drained ground beef may be substituted for the Ricotta cheese to make meat filling for the shells.
