Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- ground beef - 3/4 lb
- onion, diced - 1 item
- tomato juice - 2 c
- medium green peppers - 6 item
- rice - 3/4 c
- ground pork - 3/4 lb
How to make stuffed peppers:
Wash peppers and remove seeds. Scald in hot water for 1 minute. Saute onions in butter until tender. Add to the ground meats, rice, salt and pepper, mixing well. Fill peppers. Place in pot; add water and tomato juice. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
