Stuffed mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- mushrooms - 1 lb
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- white wine optional - 4 Tbsp
How to make stuffed mushrooms:
Mix thoroughly the bread crumbs, thyme, oregano, parsley, butter and wine. Wash mushrooms, remove stems and chop them up fine. Saute stems and caps in butter for 10 minutes. Cool; set aside caps and mix stems with spices, crumbs and wine. Fill the caps with the mixture and place on baking tin. Broil until hot.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Side dish, Vegetables.
