Stuffed mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
- butter, melted - 1/4 lb
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- Italian bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- large mushrooms - 16 item
- Romano or Parmesan cheese - 1 item
How to make stuffed mushrooms:
Remove and chop stems from mushrooms. Saute stems and onion in 3 tablespoons butter. Mix last 5 ingredients and add mixture to sauteed stems and onions. Heat 1 minute until mixture jells. Brush mushroom caps with remaining butter. Fill caps with mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Side dish, Vegetables.
