Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
  • parsley - 1/2 tsp
  • garlic clove, minced - 1 item
  • finely chopped onions - 1/4 c
  • Italian bread crumbs - 1/4 c
  • medium, fresh, cleaned mushrooms - 1 lb
  • cooked, drained, chopped spicy sausage - 1 c

How to make stuffed party mushrooms:

Heat oven to 350°. Remove stems from mushrooms. Finely chop stems. In a medium to large bowl, combine chopped stems and all remaining ingredients. Press mixture firmly into mushroom caps, mounding on top. Sprinkle with a little Parmesan cheese. Bake for 18 to 23 minutes. Serve warm. Makes 35 to 40 appetizers.
