Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/4 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- sliced green onions - 1/4 c
- fine dry bread crumbs - 2/3 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- large fresh mushrooms 1 1/2 to 2 inch diameter - 24 item
How to make stuffed mushrooms:
Wash mushrooms, remove stems and chop enough to make 1 cup. In a saucepan, cook mushroom stems, onion and garlic in margarine until tender. Stir in bread crumbs and cheese. Spoon mixture into mushroom caps. Arrange caps in a 15 x 10 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 425° for 8 to 10 minutes or until heated through.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Side dish, Vegetables.
