Strawberry pretzel dessert

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1/2 c
• pkg - 8 oz
• boiling water - 2 c
• oleo - 3/4 c
• box strawberry Jell-O - 6 oz
• coarsely chopped nuts - 1/3 c
• carton whipped topping - 8 oz
• crushed pretzels - 2 c
• boxes frozen strawberries - 2 oz

How to make strawberry pretzel dessert:

Mix pretzels (not too finely crushed), sugar, oleo and pecans. Press lightly into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350°. Cool. Combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and whipped topping. Spread on top of first layer. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries. When partially congealed, put on top of second layer. Refrigerate several hours.
