Blueberry cream cheese pie
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- whipping cream - 1 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- Philadelphia cream cheese - 4 oz
- can blueberry pie mix - 1 item
- whipped cream topping optional - 1 item
- pastry shell, cooled - 1 item
How to make blueberry cream cheese pie:
Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese and vanilla until well blended. Whip whipping cream and fold into cream cheese mixture. Turn into pie shell. Refrigerate at least 3 hours. Mix blueberry pie mix with lemon juice and spread over the top. Add whipped cream, if desired.I took this to the Mrs. Washington and Mrs. America pageant in 1960.
