Strawberry cream squares
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- dairy sour cream - 1 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 1/2
- large bananas, sliced - 2 item
How to make strawberry cream squares:
Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add strawberries. Stir occasionally until thawed. Add pineapple and bananas. Pour half into 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Chill until firm. Spread evenly with sour cream. Pour remaining gelatin atop. Chill until firm. Cut into 9 squares. I sometimes omit the strawberries and add more bananas. When you do this, you must add 1 3/4 cups cold water.Recipe categories: Desserts, Strawberry, Gelatin.
