  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • pkg
  • flour
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • miniature marshmallows - 1 c
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 15 oz
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/2 lb
  • ice cubes
  • small bananas - 2 item
  • grape jello - 2 pkg
  • or more whipped topping - 2 c

How to make sawdust salad:

Second Layer:5 Tbsp. flour1 egg reserved pineapple juice plus water to make 1 c.1/2 c. sugar Third Layer:2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese2 c. (or more) whipped topping1/2 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese Dissolve jello in water. Add ice cubes and stir until dissolved. Add pineapple, bananas and marshmallows. Chill until firm in a 10 x 7-inch pan. Combine flour, egg, pineapple juice and sugar and cook until thick. Pour over first layer. Let cool. Mix whipped topping with softened cream cheese and spread over second layer. Cover top with Cheddar cheese and serve.
