Stir-fry sauce
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1/3 c
- ground ginger - 2 tsp
- red wine vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1/2 c
- red pepper sauce - 1/4 tsp
- dry cooking sherry - 1/2 c
- garlic cloves, crushed optional - 4 item
- broth beef or chicken
How to make stir-fry sauce:
Mix ingredients. Will freeze into 3 or 4 servings. To use, thaw one serving. Cut meat (chicken, pork, beef) into narrow slices. Marinate meat in sauce while preparing vegetables (peas, broccoli, etc.).Hint: Stir-fry veggies first; remove from wok. Drain meat (save marinade) and stir-fry meat last. Then add veggies back to wok, add marinade and simmer until thickened.
