Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • soy sauce
  • peanut oil - 1 Tbsp
  • sherry - 1 tsp
  • stalks green onion - 2 item
  • ginger, finely chopped - 1 Tbsp
  • garlic powder or fresh garlic - 1 tsp
  • fish or fillets - 1 lb

How to make steamed fish:

Sauce:1 Tbsp. soy sauce1 Tbsp. ginger, finely chopped1/2 tsp. sugar1 tsp. sherry Sprinkle salt and garlic over fish and let stand for 30 minutes. Mix sauce together and pour over fish. Slice green onion into 1-inch lengths and sprinkle over fish. Steam fish for 12 minutes. Heat peanut oil. Pour hot peanut oil over fish before serving. Serve hot.
