Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- fish fillets - 1 item
- can beer - 1/2 item
How to make beer batter fish:
Mix all ingredients (batter should be thin but should stick to fillets). Batter should be a little thinner than pancake batter. Add more beer, if needed. Soak fillets in batter approximately 15 minutes. Fry in hot oil. Oil is hot enough if a drop of batter comes to the top of the oil right away.Recipe categories: Main dish, Fish, Seafood.
