Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 1/2 1
  • water - 2 qt
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onions - 1 c
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • diced celery - 1 c
  • diced carrots - 1 c
  • can tomatoes - 16 oz
  • ground chuck - 1 lb
  • beef bouillon - 2 Tbsp
  • frozen mixed vegetables - 10 oz
  • Accent seasoning - 1 Tbsp

How to make steak soup:

Brown and drain beef. Parboil onion, celery and carrots until partially done. Melt margarine; mix in flour and water. Add meat, other cooked ingredients and tomatoes. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.

This recipe needs more salt and less flour than you think!
