Broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 3/4 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 item
- diced onion - 1/2 c
- low-fat milk - 2 c
- diced celery - 3/4 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- broccoli, diced or 10 oz - 1 lb
How to make broccoli soup:
Heat water to boiling and add vegetables. Cook 5 to 6 minutes until tender. In another saucepan, melt margarine over low heat. Blend in flour. While stirring, slowly add milk. Cook over low heat until it thickens. Add crushed bouillon cubes. Stir to dissolve. Add cooked vegetables in water. Stir and heat until bubbly. Serve.May use 2 cups of Basic White Sauce.
