Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/3 c
- cold water - 1 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- celery, chopped - 1/4 c
- fresh mushrooms, sliced
- seasoned stuffing - 2 c
- instant beef bouillon - 2 tsp
- can cream of onion soup - 1 3/4
- to 3 cube steaks - 2 item
- Gravy:1/4 c
How to make steak roll-ups:
Stuffing:1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced1/2 c. onion, chopped1/4 c. celery, chopped1/3 c. water2 Tbsp. butter or margarine1 tsp. parsley flakes1/2 tsp. salt1/8 tsp. pepper2 c. seasoned stuffing Mix all ingredients together.Gravy:1/4 c. flour1 c. cold water2 tsp. instant beef bouillon1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of onion soup1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced Mix flour and water together; add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Microcook on High for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring once.Cut cube steaks into 4 rectangles. Place stuffing in center of steaks and roll; secure with wooden picks. Arrange in circular pattern in an 8 x 8-inch square baking dish. Drizzle gravy over meat roll-ups. Microcook on Medium (50%) for 20 minutes, turning inside of meat roll-ups to outside halfway through cooking time. Yield: 4 servings.
