  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • evaporated milk - 1 c
  • water - 2 c
  • melted butter - 3 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • parsley flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • caraway seed - 1/2 tsp
  • onion, chopped - 1 c
  • celery, chopped - 1 c
  • shredded cheese - 2 c
  • peeled, cubed potatoes - 4 c

How to make creamy potato soup:

Combine potatoes, celery, onion, water and salt in large pot. Simmer, covered, about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Mash mixture a few times with potato masher, but leave some pieces whole. Stir in remaining ingredients. Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly, until soup is thoroughly heated.
