Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 2 c
- molasses - 1/4 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- mustard - 3/4 tsp
- salt pork - 1/3 lb
- dry navy beans - 2 c
How to make boston baked beans:
Wash beans; cover with water. Simmer until almost done. Drain. Place pork in dish and add beans. Add molasses, salt, mustard, 1 cup boiling water and chili powder. Pour over beans. Add water to cover. Bake in covered dish at 325° for 6 to 8 hours.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Beans.
