Ingredients/Components
- spinach - 2 lb
- fresh mushrooms - 1 pkg
- hard-cooked eggs, finely chopped - 2 item
- to 10 strips bacon, fried crisp and crumbled - 8 item
- small can water chestnuts, sliced - 1 item
- salad oil
- sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
How to make spinach salad:
Dressing:1/2 c. salad oil1 scant c. sugar1 tsp. salt1/4 c. vinegar Wash and dry spinach; tear into small pieces. Add 1 package of sliced fresh mushrooms, 2 hard-cooked eggs (chopped or sliced), crumbled bacon and water chestnuts. Refrigerate.
