Spinach quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- cream - 1 item
- butter or oleo - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1/4 c
- spinach - 1/2 c
- pie shell - 1 item
- can small mushrooms - 1 item
- salt, pepper, nutmeg - 1 item
How to make spinach quiche:
Prebake pie shell 10 to 12 minutes at 375°. Saute mushrooms and 1/2 cup spinach in butter. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Blend 1/4 cup grated cheese and 3 eggs. Add enough cream to make about 1 1/2 to 2 cups. Pour in pie shell. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Dot with butter. Bake 1/2 hour at 375°.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Vegetarian.
