Spinach dip
Ingredients/Components
- medium onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- frozen, chopped spinach - 1 pkg
- round loaf of pumpernickel bread - 1 item
- mayonnaise reduced fat - 1 c
- box Knorr vegetable soup mix - 1 item
- sour cream fat-free, if possible - 1 pt
How to make spinach dip:
Thaw spinach. Drain. Press out as much water as possible. Mix all, refrigerate 24 hours.Cut a lid off a round loaf of pumpernickel bread. Pull out the inside of the loaf; reserve for "dippers." Fill bread cavity with mix just before serving. Replace lid, if desired. Place bread pieces around loaf for dipping.
