Spiced pecans
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- pecan halves - 3 c
- ground cloves - 1/2 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- egg white - 1 item
- ground nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
How to make spiced pecans:
Beat egg white (at room temperature) and water at high speed until foamy. Add pecans, stirring to coat.Combine sugar and remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Sprinkle over pecans. Stir well. Spread pecans in a single layer on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, stirring twice. Let cool.
