Sugar and spice pecans
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water
- pecans - 8 c
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- egg white - 1 item
- ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- ground allspice - 1/4 tsp
How to make sugar and spice pecans:
Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well with electric mixer (until light in color). Add pecans; stir until evenly coated. Spread pecans in a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 275° for 50 to 55 minutes. Remove to waxed paper while still warm, cool. Store in airtight container. Yields 8 cups.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Snacks.
