Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- slices bread - 8 item
- Crisco, divided - 2 4
How to make spiced french toast:
In a shallow dish, blend first 6 ingredients. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons Crisco. Dip both sides of bread in egg mixture. Place 2 to 3 slices in skillet. Cook over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with remaining slices, adding remaining Crisco, if necessary.Recipe categories: Egg, Breads, Breakfast.
