Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 c
  • butter - 1 item
  • oil - 1 Tbsp
  • poppy seed - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • ketchup - 2 Tbsp
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 1/2
  • can sliced mushrooms - 1 oz
  • clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
  • medium onion, sliced - 1 item
  • cooked noodles - 4 6
  • beef, cut in 1/4-inch strips - 1 lb

How to make speedy beef stroganoff:

In skillet or chafing dish, brown meat in hot oil; add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is crisp-tender. Blend soup, sour cream, mushrooms, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over meat; cook and heat slowly. Cook and drain noodles. Toss with butter and poppy seed. Serve Stroganoff over hot noodles. Serves 4.
