Speedy beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter - 1 item
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- poppy seed - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- ketchup - 2 Tbsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 1/2
- can sliced mushrooms - 1 oz
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- medium onion, sliced - 1 item
- cooked noodles - 4 6
- beef, cut in 1/4-inch strips - 1 lb
How to make speedy beef stroganoff:
In skillet or chafing dish, brown meat in hot oil; add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is crisp-tender. Blend soup, sour cream, mushrooms, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over meat; cook and heat slowly. Cook and drain noodles. Toss with butter and poppy seed. Serve Stroganoff over hot noodles. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
