Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1 Tbsp
- basil - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- tomatoes - 1 qt
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Brown beef, garlic, onion and green pepper. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste; heat through. Add basil, oregano, sugar and pepper. Simmer about 15 minutes. Serve over spaghetti noodles. Serves about 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
