Spaghetti casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- jar spaghetti sauce - 1 qt
- grated Mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- small bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- spaghetti, cooked - 1/2 lb
How to make spaghetti casserole:
Brown ground beef; drain. Add onions and bell pepper; saute. Add sauce and sugar; heat. Spread thin layer of sauce on bottom of casserole, then layer noodles, meat sauce and grated Mozzarella. Keep layering ending with cheese. Bake at 350° until cheese is melted (about 30 minutes). You may add mushrooms to sauce if desired.
