Ingredients/Components

  • salt
  • water
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • chili powder - 1 tsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • spaghetti, cooked and drained - 8 oz
  • shredded cheese - 1 c

How to make spaghetti casserole:

Lightly brown hamburger in skillet. Add onions and cook until tender. Stir in sauce, water and seasonings. Simmer 25 minutes. Place half of spaghetti in a 2-quart casserole. Cover with half of sauce. Sprinkle half of cheese on sauce; repeat layers. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
