Spaghetti and meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ground beef
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- dried bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- jars spaghetti sauce - 2 item
- hot cooked spaghetti - 1 item
How to make spaghetti and meatballs:
In a large bowl, combine first ten ingredients; mix thoroughly. With hands, firmly shape into 1-inch meatballs.In a saucepan, over medium heat, in hot oil, cook meatballs, 1/4 at a time, until browned on all sides; spoon off fat. Return all meatballs to saucepan.
Pour spaghetti sauce over meatballs. Over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
To serve, arrange hot spaghetti on large platter. Ladle meatballs and sauce over spaghetti.
