Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- eggs - 3 item
- Parmesan cheese
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- oregano - 2 Tbsp
- basil - 2 Tbsp
- cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- can tomato paste - 1 item
- olive oil - 4 Tbsp
- clove garlic, chopped - 1 item
- ground round
- crushed crackers
- jar Ragu or dry spaghetti sauce - 1 item
How to make spaghetti and meat balls:
Meat Balls:1 lb. ground round3 eggs salt and pepper to taste1 1/2 c. crushed crackers1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese Sauce: Put all ingredients (except olive oil, onion and garlic) in large pot. Bring to boil, lower heat and simmer. In pan, put olive oil; add onion and garlic. Cook until transparent. Then add to the sauce mixture. Let simmer all day. The longer it cooks, the better the sauce is.Meat Balls: Mix all ingredients well. Shape into balls and fry in hot oil until dark brown. Add to the sauce about 1 hour before sauce is ready. Serve over spaghetti.
