Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- eggs - 3 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
- pecans - 1 c
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make southern pecan pie:
Beat eggs thoroughly with 2/3 cup sugar plus salt, corn syrup and butter. Add pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake in moderate oven at 350° for 50 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
