Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- sugar - 3/4 c
- melted butter - 1/4 lb
- dark corn syrup - 1 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- pecans - 1 c
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make pecan pie:
Beat eggs until light. Add sugar, butter, syrup, vanilla and dash of salt, gradually beating each ingredient until blended. Pour into shell. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 30 minutes.Remove pie and cover with pecans. Return to oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes longer or until firm. Serve warm or cold with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
