Ingredients/Components
- unbaked pie crust - 1 item
- chopped pecans
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- dark corn syrup - 3/4 c
- oatmeal - 1/2 c
- rum flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make southern pecan pie:
Cream sugar and butter; add eggs. Mix well. Pour in syrup and flavoring. Stir in oatmeal and pecans. Pour in pie shell; bake for 1 hour at 350°. (Fifty minutes may be enough!)Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
