Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- pecans - 1 c
- dark syrup - 1 c
How to make southern pecan pie:
Beat eggs. Add sugar, syrup, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Add butter and mix again. Arrange pecans in bottom of unbaked crust. Pour mixture over them. Bake in 375° oven about 1 hour. Pecans should rise to the top.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
