- sugar - 1 c
- warm water - 2 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
- instant potatoes - 6 Tbsp

How to make sourdough starter:
To begin your starter, mix the 1 c. sugar, dry yeast, 6 Tbsp. instant potatoes and warm water in a glass jar, cover with paper towel and rubber band. Let stand at room temperature for 48 hours. Remove desired amount for baking and store remainder in the refrigerator.Feed:3/4 c. sugar3 Tbsp. instant potatoes1 c. warm water Before baking again, feed starter 3/4 c. sugar, 1 c. warm water and 3 Tbsp. instant potatoes and let stand at room temperature all day, then refrigerate.
