  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • raisins - 1 c
  • nuts optional - 1 item
  • white sugar - 1/2 c
  • oats - 3 c
  • 1/2 sticks oleo - 2 item

How to make soft oatmeal cookies:

Cream first 5 ingredients until fluffy; gradually add dry, then oats and raisins. Preheat oven to 375°. Drop by large tablespoon; press down with fingers. Bake 9 minutes. Let cool on rack a few minutes before removing.
