Ingredients/Components
- soup can milk - 1/3 item
- can cream of chicken or celery soup - 1 item
- fryer or selected pieces - 1 item
- instant onion optional - 1/2 tsp
How to make smothered chicken:
Broil chicken until brown. Turn and brown other side. Place broiled chicken in Pyrex dish. Sprinkle with onion (if desired). Mix soup and milk together and pour over chicken. Cover with foil and bake at 325° for about 1 hour.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Whole chicken.
