Smoked sausage supper
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- can whole tomatoes, cut up - 1 oz
- smoked sausage, cut into bite size pieces - 1 lb
How to make smoked sausage supper:
In medium-sized skillet, cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender; do not brown. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and seasonings. Simmer on low for ten minutes. Cook sausage at 350° for 15 minutes.Prepare macaroni according to package. Arrange on platter. Top with sauce and sausage. Serve immediately. Serves 6 to 8.
