Sicilian supper
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- cooked egg noodles - 2 c
How to make sicilian supper:
Brown meat; add onion and cook until tender. Add tomato paste and 1 cup water; salt and pepper and simmer 20 to 30 minutes. Heat milk and cream cheese in saucepan over medium heat. Blend well. Stir in 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, garlic salt and green pepper and noodles. In 9 x 13-inch casserole, alternate layers of noodles and meat sauce. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
