Smoked sausage and bean soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 6 c
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- margarine - 2 tsp
- tomato paste - 1/4 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- shredded cabbage - 2 c
- diced potatoes - 2 c
- cans red kidney beans - 2 item
- smoked sausage - 16 oz
- to 2 beef bouillon cubes - 1 item
- can Ro-Tel optional - 1 item
How to make smoked sausage and bean soup:
Saut?© onion in margarine in large pot. Add water, potatoes, sausage, beans and bouillon. Cook for 15 minutes in covered pot (until potatoes are cooked). Add cabbage, tomato paste (Ro-Tel) and vinegar and cook for 10 more minutes.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Crock pot, Inexpensive.
