Ingredients/Components
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- sausage - 2 lb
- frozen hash brown potatoes - 6 c
- salt, divided
- large can chopped green chiles, drained - 1 item
How to make skillet breakfast:
In skillet, cook sausage in small amount of water; drain. Add onion, green chiles (drained), 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper. Saut. Remove meat mixture. Melt butter; add hash browns. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt. Press into pan lightly. Add eggs. Spoon meat mixture in and sprinkle with cheese. Cook on medium-low heat for 30 to 40 minutes. Cut and serve. Serves 6.Note: Top with picante sauce and hot sauce for more flavor.
