Simple salisbury steak
Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- can cream of mushroom soup, divided - 1 item
- dry bread crumbs or crackers - 1/2 c
- 1/2 sliced mushrooms - 1 item
How to make simple salisbury steak:
In bowl mix 1/4 cup of soup, beef, bread crumbs, eggs and onion. Shape into 6 patties. Fry in skillet until browned on both sides. Spoon out fat. Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms. Return patties to skillet. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Beef.
