Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • oil - 4 tsp
  • all-purpose flour - 4 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • dry white wine - 2 oz
  • fresh parsley, chopped - 2 Tbsp
  • dash white pepper - 1 item
  • shelled and deveined shrimp - 12 oz
  • Tbsp, or more, minced garlic - 1 item
  • fresh lemon slices - 1 item

How to make shrimp scampi:

Dredge shrimp in flour and set aside. In 9 inch skillet heat oil; add garlic and saute until golden. Add shrimp to skillet and saute, turning occasionally until shrimp begin to turn pink (about 3 minutes). Add wine and bring to boil; cook about 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper and remove from heat. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Serves two.
