Shrimp scampi
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 4 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- dry white wine - 2 oz
- fresh parsley, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- dash white pepper - 1 item
- shelled and deveined shrimp - 12 oz
- Tbsp, or more, minced garlic - 1 item
- fresh lemon slices - 1 item
How to make shrimp scampi:
Dredge shrimp in flour and set aside. In 9 inch skillet heat oil; add garlic and saute until golden. Add shrimp to skillet and saute, turning occasionally until shrimp begin to turn pink (about 3 minutes). Add wine and bring to boil; cook about 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper and remove from heat. Garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Serves two.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Shrimp.
