- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- cloves garlic, chopped - 2 item
- rice - 1 c
- shrimp - 2 lb
- canned tomatoes
- shortening, melted - 2 Tbsp
How to make shrimp jambalaya:
Brown flour, onion, pepper and garlic in shortening. Cook until tender. Add shrimp, tomatoes, water, rice and salt. Cook 25 minutes or until tender.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Shrimp.
